Understand the costs.
Be sure you understand exactly what the cost is and what it
includes. Find out:
- Number of cameras used/ method of production (see "production
methods" below).
- How much of the videographer's time is included.
- Exactly who will be videotaping your wedding (do they send freelancers
or other crews out or is the person you're meeting with going to do your
wedding?) BE SURE THAT ANY SAMPLES YOU VIEW AND QUESTIONS YOU ASK ABOUT
EXPERIENCE, REFERENCES, ETC. APPLY OR ARE FROM THE VIDEOGRAPHER DOING YOUR
WEDDING!
- Are there extra charges for anything, such as mileage or additional
shooting locations?
- How many copies are included? What is the cost for additional copies?
- Will the videographer be attending the wedding rehearsal?
- How will the videographer(s) be dressed?
- What happens if the videographer is sick or for some reason can't
follow through?
- How much money is due/ and when?
